About Lagtrial
Gaming hardware tested hands-on, with real prices and plain verdicts.
Lagtrial is a small review desk for gaming hardware: the consoles, handhelds, headsets, mice, keyboards, monitors, controllers and laptops people actually buy to play on. Every review is written by The Lagtrial Test Desk, in the first person plural, because the testing is shared: one of us plays on a product for weeks, the rest of us argue with the notes.
What you get in every review
A score out of ten, a verdict that answers the question you came with, and a line on who the product is best for. Then the price the maker lists, the things we liked and the things we did not, the specs that matter, and the long version with our own captures.
What we will not do
- Sell placement in the rankings. A score only moves when our testing changes it.
- Publish a review of something we have not used.
- Hide a cheaper option that does the same job. If one exists, the verdict names it.
How the site is funded
